Bill Johnston, M.A., LL.B. is the President of the Toronto Real Estate Board which represents over 30,000 real estate agents and brokers in the Greater Toronto Area. Bill is also a broker for Royal LePage Your Community Realty in Richmond Hill.
Bill’s specialties include agency law, professional marketing of property, counselling buyers, negotiation, and public speaking.

Licensed in 1990, Dave has always been at the front of technological change. Recognizing the internet had tremendous potential for profit for Realtors®, Dave built and launched his first web site in 1999 ultimately creating a network of 220 real estate web sites, becoming an expert at SEO and website design and functionality.
Bringing the same “how do I use this for profit” approach and skill set, Dave was early into Web 2.0 / social media on multiple platforms. Understanding the power of video for connecting with people, Dave launched ChomzTV.com in December 2008, a video real estate archive.
Karim Kanji, Toronto Community Manager, Techvibes
A highly visible member of Toronto’s social media scene, Karim consults and works with a number of brands and organizations. Karim is the Toronto Community Manager for Techvibes,com, a technology and social media news website, the community manager and chief marketer of RealCash Bancorp, online fundraising platform GREENtuity.org, and XConnectTO.
Very recently, Karim launched the SMS Social Media Show on Perpetual Radio Networks. SMS hosts some of Canada’s top thinkers in the social media space.
David Pylyp, Real Estate Agent
David has been helping people with their real estate needs for over 20 years in west Toronto, Etobicoke and Mississauga. He’s a big fan of Facebook, Twitter and commands a large presence on YouTube.
David employs a localism strategy to generate leads and market the homes he sells, combining social media elements such as website content, blogs, online ads and YouTube video.
